Sports Performance

As an athlete, you train for every advantage you can gain on the court, ice, track, or field.

Your specific strength and conditioning program is determined by your sport, the season,  your age, your strengths and weaknesses, previous injuries and more. We factor all of these into account when designing your program.

Sport First. 

While your strength and conditioning is an important part of your overall sports performance, success in the weight room does not always translate into improved sports performance. Training towards the right goal, at the correct volume and intensity, is critical in allowing you to practice and compete at optimal levels.  Traditional bodybuilding splits or frequently working to failure does not work here. Most often, you will want to be quick and powerful, not big and slow.

No matter what your sport, here is our promise to you:

  1. Your training program will be appropriate to the demands of your sport and address the areas you need to improve.
  2. You will become stronger, faster and more powerful.
  3. All of our programs emphasize durability, to prepare for your demanding in-season schedule. You do not want to show up burnt out from training on day one.
  4. Your sports performance is the top priority, and all in-season training will be designed to maintain your improvements without detracting from performance.
  5. We will always be available to speak with your coach to discuss your program.

Why Do Athletes Choose Us?

All programs are different.  Some schools do not have a structured strength and conditioning program, while others are so large it can be difficult for a coach to monitor all of their athletes with limited time in group sessions. Many athletes are left on their own to train during the off-season. 

Our one-on-one training will help keep you on track and refine your technique of the most important and complex lifts you will encounter in many college programs, allowing you to attack these workouts with confidence and reduce your risk of injury.

Customer-First Pricing

At Ignite Fitness, there is no minimum purchase or membership required to receive the best rate (you are not penalized with higher fees if you cannot visit us as much as you’d like). If you prefer to prepay for a number of sessions, they never expire and a refund for unused sessions is always available.   

We offer 30, 45, or 60-minute sessions at a flat rate of $64/hour, and couples sessions at $90/hr ($45 per person).
